We all know Pakistan is home to some of the world’s most beautiful places. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Is one of the most beautiful provinces of Pakistan. It is so because KPK is a land with a variety of landscapes; ranging from agricultural farms, hills, and mountains. Some of the major places to visits here are; Kalam Forest, Bahrain, Malam Jabba, Madyan, and Miandam, Mingora, Peochar Valley, and many more.
Most of these places are In this Province of Pakistan are present in Swat. Swat is one of the most beautiful pieces of land. So, if we want to explore all these places in Pakistan, the first place that strikes our minds is Swat. Swat is most commonly known as “The Switzerland of the East”. It is in the Malakand District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). Therefore, people living here mostly belongs to Pashtuns, Gujjars, and Kohistani Communities. The weather here is one of the major tourist attractions, as it remains cold throughout the year.
The Peochar Valley – The Piece of Paradise on Earth
Located in Swat Pakistan, Peochar valley is 41 kilometers away from Mingora. The place is a beautiful tourist destination but it remained hidden or undercover. It is just like a piece of paradise, that perfectly fits among the lap of Pakistan’s most beautiful city.
Conflicts of The Past
The Peochar valley was under the stronghold of TTP terrorists until 2009. In 2009, one of the biggest heliborne operations was conducted when SSG commanders landed in the Peochar valley with Parachutes in the middle of terrorist positions.
An Emerging Tourist Destination
The Peochar Valley is now “The Land of Peace and Beauty”. The valley is still emerging as a tourist destination. Also, it has a great potential to attract tourists from all around the world. Therefore, if it develops properly it can serve Pakistan as a means of generating revenue from all over the globe. Moreover, the enhancement of places like Peochar Valley will also improve the goodwill of Pakistan among other countries.
