NALTAR VALLEY: A PLACE ABUNDANT WITH NATURE
Located in the Gilgit Baltistan region of Pakistan, Naltar is a valley that is approximately 34 km long. Although all the places located in Gilgit Baltistan are breathtaking, Naltar Valley has its own significance and is the soul of Gilgit. It is highly cultivated with lush green and tall trees and is surrounded by mountains which stands majestically and provides a stunning and captivating view.
There are three renowned lakes in Naltar Valley namely Bodlok Lake, Blue Lake, and Strangi Lake. A very beautiful garden called “Halima Garden” is also situated in this valley which is a cherry on top. Also, there is a ski resort which holds Ski competitions which are to look for.
It is one of the few places which are enjoyable in any weather as you can enjoy the scenic view of the lake and the greenery in summers and indulge in amusing activities like skiing in the winter season. It will take you a drive of approximately one hour to reach Naltar from Gilgit. Most of the tourists prefer going by 4×4 from Nomal to Naltar as other transports cause troubles in the way. Once you reach this valley, you will be left awe-struck because of the valley’s spectacular sight.
