CHANGA MANGA FOREST PARK: NATIONAL FOREST OF PAKISTAN
Including wildlife conserve Changa Manga Forest is located in Kasur in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is the largest manmade forest in the world. Recently the forest has experienced enormous illegal deforestation.
Changa Manga forest is a renowned tourist destination because of sufficient greenery, comprehensive natural vegetation, magnificent wildlife species, and numerous exciting outdoor activities. Changa Manga is renowned as the oldest hand-planted forest in the world. The forest has an enormous variety of animals and plants. The forest has 14 species of mammals, 6 species of reptiles, 2 species of amphibians, 27 species of insects, and 50 species of birds. The forest provides a paramount wildlife reserve.
Changa Manga is named after two brothers. British arbor culturists planted this forest in 1866. The trees of the forest are gathered to produce fuel. The Changa Manga forest also has a wildlife park. Some of the facilities in Changa Manga Park are log houses, child cars and gadgets, cafeterias, green lawns, and motorboats. A large number of people come to visit this park every month. The Lunar lake for boating, mini zoo, and swimming pools are very famous activities in this park. However, certain facilities of the park have faced issues due to a large number of people visiting it every day. There is no entry fee for this park, which is yet another reason that it is crowded every day. The route to visit the Changa Manga park is from Lahore main railway. Some of the hotels nearby are Hampton Inn, The Cheshire, and Hyatt Regency. The average cost of a day and night stay in these hotels is 40 US Dollars. Changa Manga is an ideal place for green panthers.
