Located in Khairpur, Sindh, Pakistan, Faiz Mahal is a beautiful palace. Mir Sohrab Khan built the palace in 1798. Mir Sohrab Khan was the principal of the building, which was serving as the sovereign’s court for the royal palace complex of Talpur monarchs of the Khairpur dynasty.
The palace is stunningly beautiful with mesmerizing landscape and architecture. Originally, the palace included the ruler’s chamber with 16waiting rooms of courters and guest rooms for royal guests along with the darbar and dining halls. There was a big Hathi Khana for the royal elephants and a horse stable where there is a mango orchard built today.
Today, Faiz Mahal is home to the last Talpur monarch H.H. Mir Ali Murad Khan Talpur (II), and his son Prince Abbas Raza Talpur and Prince Mehdi Raza Talpur.
