Ranikot Fort also known as Rannikot is a historical Talpur fort near Sann, Jamshoro District, Sindh, Pakistan. Ranikot Fort is just 90 kilometers away to the north of Hyderabad on the Indus Highway (N55).

Ranikot Fort is also famous as “The Great Wall of Sindh”. It is the world’s largest fort with a circumference of about 32 kilometers. The ramparts of the fort have been compared with the Great Wall of China.

In 1993, the Pakistan National Commission gave Ranikot Fort the status of UNESCO World Heritage. Under the Antiquities Act of 1975, Ranikot Fort is listed as a historical site.  The fort is huge and it connects several bleak mountains of the Kirthar hills. The wall of the fort is semi-circular in shape. There is a mini fort within the main fort, which is known as Miri Fort. Miri Fort is about 3 kilometers away from the Sann gate. It is believed that it was the palace of the Mir royal family.

The fort is beautifully designed with stone and lime mortar. The design of the fort is in a zigzag manner with four entry gates. The names of the gates are Sann gate, Shah-Pere gate, Amri gate, and Mohan gate.
