CHILAM: HIGHEST ALTITUDE VILLAGE

A village in Astore District in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan, Chilam is the highest altitude village. At an elevation of 3869m approximately 12696 ft. and located 35°2’60N 75°7’0E it is commonly called the village of Rajabali Family who recently migrated to Dass Bala, Skardu, Gilgit Baltistan. Chilam is approximately 53 kilometers from Astore and it links to Deosai, Minimurag, Burzil Pass, and Gultari.
