Fairyland of Skardu: Kachura Lakes

There is no better way to spend your next holidays than touring around the exquisite Kachura Lake. It takes approximately 15 minutes from parking to walk to the magnificent lake, but the walk is worth the effort. Kachura Lakes are two lakes namely Upper Kachura Lake and Lower Kachura Lake in the district of Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan. For centuries, the Upper Kachura Lake is untampered and mostly out of reach to tourists due to the lack of infrastructure and transportation issues through rough terrain. However, locals have found ways to explore and enjoy the views one dreams about.
