JALLO PARK: A FOREST AND WILDLIFE PARK
Jallo Park is an amusement park located in the Lahore District of Punjab Pakistan. Established in 1978 it is also known as Jallo Wildlife Park. Along with Changa Manga and Lahore Zoo, Jallo Park is among the three central wildlife parks in Lahore. Some of the facilities at Jallo Park include a forest research center, cafeterias, swimming pool, sports complex, and a theme park. A botanical garden is also a part of this park.
The park is currently under the supervision of the Government of Punjab. The park is built beautifully and one can spend a perfect evening here. It is one of the most beautiful parks in Pakistan. The greenery, fresh air, atmosphere, and some snacks can make an evening perfect at Jallo Park. There is no entry fee for the park, however; the rides in the park are at economical charges.
Jallo Park is a source of education about the forest and trees for the public. The beautiful landscape and nature’s view speaks for itself. Jallo Park has more than 120 species of trees and climbers. It is a prominent botanical garden with some exceptionally rare species of plants. It is an ideal location for nature lovers. It also has a 5 km cycle track too.
Some of the hotels nearby are Hotel Holiday, Royal Swiss Lahore, Beverly Inn Hotel, and Grand Enclave Hotel. The charges of hotels may vary accordingly. However, the most famous and elegant Royal Swiss Lahore Hotel costs 80 US Dollars for a day and night stay. Some other hotels are also available at lower rates. Jallo Park is a perfect public recreation and wildlife site so one can never repent going there.
