MAZAR-E-QUAID: MAGNIFICENT TOMB OF THE FOUNDER OF PAKISTAN

Situated in the center of Karachi, the city of lights, Mazar-e-Quaid is one of the most renowned tourist spots. It has great significance to Pakistan, as it is the final resting place of the beloved founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Designed in a 1960’s modernist style, its architecture is appealing and ideal for daytime as well as nighttime photography. Embellished with white marble stones, which might appear decent when viewed at a distance but are quite detailed and complex when observed closely, surrounded with scenic landscape, lush lawns with beautiful fountains, the purity of the tomb makes people remember the aura and charisma which Quaid-e-Azam had.

The grave of Quaid-e-Azam’s sister Fatima Jinnah lovingly referred to as Madar-e-Millat is also present here along with the graves of the former Prime Ministers of Pakistan namely Liaquat Ali Khan and Nur-ul-Amin. It is thrilling to watch the military guards paying tribute to Jinnah. Underneath the mausoleum, a very fascinating museum is located where the belongings of Mohammad Ali Jinnah are carefully placed. If you are a person who is into history and informative stuff and loves paying visits to museums then you should pay a visit here.

Foreigners are welcomed here with great love and pride. Some commendable hotels located near are Karachi Marriott Hotel, which is a 4-star hotel, Avari Towers Karachi, Movenpick Hotel Karachi, PC hotel that is a 5-star hotel with a price rate of about 83 US dollars, and many more. This location is worth visiting if you are planning to tour around Karachi, as it has remained the center of attraction for every tourist who ever visited Karachi.
