PANJPEER ROCKS : A SPELL BOUNDING RELIGIOUS LOCATION

At about 1800m Panjpeer is a rock plateau. Panjpeer rocks are named after the five saints who the locals believe lived there, which is why this place has significant religious importance. The footprints of these saints are present on the stones of the Punj Peer Shrine located over there. The Panj Peer rocks are located at an elevation of about 5905 feet and are the tallest point of Danoi Ridge situated in Kotli Sattyan in the district of Rawalpindi.

It takes a drive of about 2 hours from Islamabad to arrive at Kahuta. Further, it takes a bit of a difficult hike for a few hours to arrive at the top of the mountain but it is all worth it as your eyes are continuously being blessed by the majestic views of waterfalls, greenery, and streams.
