SHRINE OF BAHAUDDIN ZAKARIYA: THE SOUL OF MULTAN

Located in Multan in Punjab province of Pakistan, the shrine of the great Sufi saint Bahauddin Zakariya, the founder of the Suhrawardiyya order of Sufism, is one of the main highlights of Multan city. This shrine was built during the 13th century and is known for its beautiful architecture and atmosphere. The architecture of the mausoleum is worth praising. With a shining white hemispherical dome and adorned with blue tiles, this mausoleum is extremely captivating and is adored by the inhabitants as well as the tourists. The foundation of the mausoleum spreads up to an area of 51ft and it is in the shape of a square.
