TOMB OF SHAH RUKN-E-ALAM: SOUL REFRESHING AND AESTHETIC TOMB

The city of Multan, in the Punjab province of Pakistan, is known for its majestic tombs and one of them is the tomb of Shah Rukn-e-Alam. Shah Rukn-e-Alam’s real name was Sheikh Rukn-ud-Din Abul Fateh and he was given the title of Shah Rukn-e-Alam which means “Pillar of the World”. It has a wooden sculptured mihrab.  Over 100,000 people come over here from all over the country at the urs of Shah Rukn-e-Alam and pay a tribute to him.
